But as soon as one question is answered, the next is on the table: How does this make more sense then a twin brother and a yet unknown cause of his death? And this time I have no idea and no theory.

Haha, yes, the crime scene still has some confusing elements... but at this point our good hunter has quite a bunch of hints to work with! :D Namely: he knows that Arthur was stabbed and that Kane was killed by a vampire. The easiest theory, given that there were only two corpses in the room, was to think that the two killed each other. Buuuut... as it turns out, Arthur is not a vampire. So he did not bite his "twin". There was a vampire on the scene though, so... looks like there was a third person of the scene. But! Arthur Hawthorne was stabbed, not bitten. So this third person (the vampire) was not responsible of Arthur's death.

Which brings us back to the fact that Arthur's death was likely the doing of that mysterious "twin" of his. But why would the "twin" kill Arthur, since it clearly wasn't for personal defense as first theorized? Well... let's just say that the "face reveal" in this page gave Adrian an idea about what the real motive of Arthur's murderer must have been :D

Thanks for putting the facts on the table :)

There is something I may have missed when I read the pages the first time: On 2.6 Adrian said "If we don't count the stabs all over his back" and I suddenly realized that this wouldn't fit well to his theory on 2.7 and because they didn't turn Arthur around, they didn't find the stab wound on his front yet. I guess there should be at least one because on 0.4 we heard that Arthur was aware of the attack... or... did Arthur turn around and try to run? Hm. Could be possible, too.

No problem! :D

And yep, Arthur totally turned around to run, hence the stabs on his back! And although Aaliyah and Adrian didn't turn him to check other wounds, there's definitely blood that goes under his body, soooo... it's very likely for Arthur to have more wounds on the front as well D:

As for Adrian's theory... well, technically, it would have been possible for Kane to stab Arthur on the back if he was a vampire, too! :D After all, vampires pretty much have to "embrace" their victims to drink their blood, so if a victim happens to have a knife... they could easily stab the vampire in the back while he's still busy drinking (man, that got morbid soon, lol). I mean, we now know that it's not what really happened, but it could have been a possibility :D

My, are we developing here "how to kill a vampire"? XD

I have to admit that I thought that it's too late once the vampire has bitten, I thought the victim would be helpless or even paralyzed... for no special reason other than the Hammer movies with Christopher Lee XD
Anyway, I'll remember to have a knife on me in case... wait, I need a wooden knife for vampires and a silver knife for werewolves. Life is not easy...

Bwhahahah, that could be a handy little guide, lol! :'D

And ooooh, I see, now! I can definitely confirm that there's no paralysis involved with vampires in The Emergency Coven, though :D alsooo... hey, maybe we could make a multi-purpose knife for hunters with blades of different materials for every creature, lol! That would definitely make things easier! :D
